1. Acceptance of Terms: By booking a class, accessing this website, or participating in any session with Movement With Murphy, you agree to these terms.
2. Services: Movement With Murphy offers private and semi-private/group Pilates instruction. Class descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
3. Health & Medical Disclaimer: Pilates is a physical activity. By booking a session, you confirm that you are physically capable of participating and have consulted a physician if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect your ability to exercise safely. Movement With Murphy is not a medical provider and does not offer medical advice or diagnosis.
4. Liability Waiver: Participation in Pilates classes involves inherent physical risk, including the possibility of injury. By booking and attending any session, you voluntarily assume all such risks and agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Movement With Murphy and its instructor(s) from any and all claims, damages, or losses arising from your participation, to the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law.
5. Booking & Payment:
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change.
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before a session will receive a full credit or refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session will forfeit the session fee.
Movement With Murphy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full credit or rescheduled session will be offered.
7. Late Arrivals: Sessions begin at their scheduled time. Late arrivals will receive the remaining session time only and will be charged in full.
8. Code of Conduct: Clients are expected to arrive on time, communicate openly about injuries or limitations, and treat the instructor and other participants respectfully. Movement With Murphy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
9. Photography & Media: No photos or video of sessions may be taken or shared without prior written consent from Movement With Murphy.
10. Intellectual Property: All content on movementwithmurphy.com — including text, images, and branding — is owned by Movement With Murphy. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.
11. Privacy: Your personal information is used only to manage your bookings and communicate with you. It is never sold to third parties. You can reference Acuity’s privacy policy here: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy
12. Changes to These Terms: These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of this site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
